All of these pictures are taken from the same house. The home builder could have easily sealed off the glass in the picture below and turned the shower into a steam shower, but instead the builder created a dedicated steam room in another part of the house. While this is certainly not the best use of space, it does allow for the creation of a true walk-in shower that doesn’t require a door to be opened and shut. Not having to deal with a door, while not a major inconvenience, is the primary reason to create a dedicated steam room.
